  This Single Bevel Sloyd Hook Knife is perfect for forming the hollows of spoons & bowls. The deeply curved, single-edged blade is sharpened all the way to the pointed tip. For added strength, the tang of each knife extends completely through the beautifully conditioned Cherry hardwood handle. It also features a brass ferrule for added stability. The overall length of this knife is 8” with a radius of .5”.   Made in the USA.

     •    The Sloyd Knife's versatility allows you to use it for a wide range of wood carving projects from detail work to roughing. Use it to shave bark or use its fine tip for eyes, noses, mouths, hair, facial details, & accent parts on caricatures and animals. The blade is made of high-carbon steel which results in a very hard edge for superior edge retention. For added strength, the tang of each knife extends completely through the handle. There's no flex in the blade - which makes it sturdy & extremely reliable. The rigidness & size of the blade allows for deep cuts & markings. The handle is made of beautifully conditioned cherry hardwood.
